About Raz

Raz is a small but mighty teddy bear who serves as the show's fill-in host, stepping up whenever Corn is—as happens more often than anyone would like—fast asleep when they need to be recording. While Corn takes his famously long naps, Raz is always ready to jump in and keep the conversation going.

Despite his compact stature, Raz brings a scrappy energy to the show that's all his own. He's enthusiastic, slightly chaotic, and completely unbothered by the fact that he was technically meant to be a backup plan. He's made the role his own, and some listeners have started specifically requesting "Raz episodes."

Raz lives in the Rosehill household alongside Corn, Herman, and the rest of the crew. He and Corn have a complicated relationship—Raz respects Corn's laid-back wisdom but can't help feeling a little smug every time Corn oversleeps and he gets the mic instead. Herman, for his part, finds Raz's boundless energy delightful and slightly exhausting in equal measure.
