Production Pipeline
Each episode is produced through a fully automated pipeline:
- Voice Prompt — Daniel records a voice memo via the Recorder PWA
- Transcription — Audio is transcribed using Google Gemini
- Episode Planning — An LLM creates a detailed episode outline with segments, facts, and transitions
- Script Generation — A full diarized dialogue script is generated (3,400-4,000 words)
- Pass 1: Review — Gemini with Google Search grounding fact-checks claims, verifies plan adherence, and strengthens weak sections
- Pass 2: Polish — Gemini polishes dialogue flow, removes verbal tics, ensures TTS compliance
- Validation — Script must pass minimum word count (2,000) and segment count (10) checks
- Metadata Generation — Title, slug, description, tags, and cover art prompt are generated
- Cover Art — FLUX Schnell via fal.ai generates episode artwork
- Text-to-Speech — Chatterbox Regular synthesizes audio for each dialogue segment (parallel on 2x T4 GPUs)
- Audio Assembly — Segments are concatenated with the original voice prompt
- Duration Check — Episodes must be at least 10 minutes long
- Publishing — Audio uploaded to Cloudflare R2, metadata stored in Neon PostgreSQL, website rebuilt on Vercel
- Social Distribution — Automated posts to Bluesky, Telegram, and X
